CNC MACHINING SIMPLIFIED

When your clients want a prototype in hand, give them the real thing. With Prismier’s advanced prototype plastic CNC machining and turning, you get a production-ready part made with the actual material you spec. Our dedicated prototype equipment includes 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining and advanced turning capabilities to provide comprehensive solutions to an array of industries. Exceed your clients’ expectations with high-caliber prototypes that allow for an accurate assessment of quality and manufacturability.

Prototypes delivered on your schedule

We get it. You need a production-ready prototype fast. That’s why we deliver parts in as little as 24 hours. From super-speed CNC machines with high tool-changer capacity, to high-speed spindles with 12,000 RPM, to dedicated equipment for prototyping, our entire process is designed to meet your deadlines. What it all boils down to: faster throughput and faster machining for faster turn-around on your project.

Machined Plastic Part
No limits on design

Think your part might be too complex? Not for us. We have the capability and know-how to transform designs of the most intricate geometry into sophisticated production-ready parts…pronto. From the smallest scale to large, our ability to machine and turn projects within a wide array of sizes, shapes, and plastics means you don’t have to shop around for multiple manufacturers. With Prismier, you get comprehensive solutions to meet your needs, all under one roof.

1
Production-quality prototypes done right

When the success of your design rides on the accuracy of your prototype, an “approximate” part isn’t close enough. At Prismier, we ensure fidelity to design by scrutinizing quality down to the most precise level. Between in-process quality checks and FaroArm technology, we deliver prototypes that match your design intent. You can confidently test your design knowing your part is as real-world as it gets.

2
Expert approach to parts optimization

Your design is sharp. The prototype looks good. But can it be mass produced? With Prismier, there are no surprises when it comes time for production. We combine our extensive advanced subtractive manufacturing expertise with our proven design for manufacturing process to ensure your prototype can be manufactured to scale as cost-effectively as possible. If there’s a way to cut costs, improve quality, or enhance the transition to production, we’ll find it.

3
Ready for production?

Moving from prototype to production is seamless with Prismier. As a global manufacturer, we make manufacturing simplified with multiple cost-effective options aligned to your needs. Diversified solutions for custom metal and plastic parts means you work with a single source for everything from production through delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an overview of the tolerance ranges across different processes and materials?

Yes. We manufacture parts to standard international engineering tolerances (such as ISO 2768-m for machining and ISO 2768-c for sheet metal) as our baseline. For precision applications, our CNC and our injection molding processes hold tight critical dimensions; your 2D control drawings will always guide our QA inspections.

Can Prismier provide me with a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?

Absolutely. We are fully NDA-compliant. We can quickly execute our standard mutual NDA, or our legal team can review and sign your organization's custom NDA before you share any drawings or CAD models.

How can Prismier offer better lead times than my local suppliers?

By utilizing a dynamic capacity balancing model across domestic and global facilities, we eliminate localized backlogs. We actively schedule production based on your target delivery date, meaning we can run your parts where the lead time is shortest and the capacity is readily available.

Is there a Minimum Order Value (MOV) or Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

Unlike digital services that impose rigid, automated price floors or refuse small runs, we support you at every stage of your business. We don't set limits on design size, complexity, or volume. Whether you need a single precision CNC machined prototype or a run of one million stamped parts, our project coordinators will draft a custom arrangement that fits your commercial needs.

What CAD design file formats does Prismier accept?

We accept almost all industry-standard 3D and 2D files, including: .step, .stp, .igs, .iges, .sldprt, .sldasm, .x_t, .x_b, .sat, .sab, .ipt, .dwg, .dxf, .prt, .stl, and .pdf.

Note: We program and manufacture your parts directly from your 3D CAD files. If your parts have critical tolerances, thread callouts, custom hardware, welding, or specific paint/plating finishes, please upload a 2D control drawing alongside your 3D file so our quality team can verify them.
