The Production Associate will be directly involved with the packaging, receiving, and delivering of sheet metal & plastic parts and/or assemblies within the Chicagoland area.

The successful candidate will have good mechanical aptitude; demonstrate the use of common hand tools, ability to read customer specifications, and preferably some prior manufacturing, or shipping/receiving experience.

The position requires an individual with a very strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, ability to do high quality work in a fast-paced environment, a commitment to a customer-first focus, and is expected to exercise sound judgment and apply smart problem-solving skills to meet both production deadlines and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing:

• Pack and unpack parts for inspection, or further processing
• Ensure parts are processed on time according to the established on-time delivery date
• Provides assistance in all facets of production to ensure on-time delivery of parts
• Operate power grinders and buffers
• Polish and deburr metal parts
• Works in a manner consistent with the established safety and efficiency standards
• Finishes assigned tasks with high quality
• Takes on all assigned tasks and adapts to new assignments quickly

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Forklift experience a plus
